Hi, I’m Kate Atkinson the data analyst for North West Paediatric Critical Care, Surgery in Children, and Long term Ventilation ODN.  Prior to which I was the data management lead for a Renal Research Group for nearly 13 years. Within this role I created more than 50 study databases, reviewed the existing data for multiple projects supporting PhD students, nursing staff, consultants and professors. Cleaned tens of thousands of lines of data collected from a myriad of sources, not all trials progressed due to the use of historical data that did not adhere to Caldicott.
