Welcome to the Education Hub for the North West Children’s Paediatric Critical Care, Surgery in Children & Long Term Ventilation Operational Delivery Network

The ODN is dedicated to making learning accessible and engaging for everyone across the North West region. As a Network we support educational programmes, share learning resources, and facilitate training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills of nurses within the North West. 

Our goal is to provide high-quality education, promote professional development, and support continuous learning through various formats. In addition to supporting the existing education provided by local educators, we offer bespoke study days on PCC, SIC, and LTV.  We also have 2 high-fidelity Laerdal SimBaby mannequinns which are available to support inhouse training.  For additional details about the Laerdal Sim baby, please click here.

In addition to offering local study days, we also assist in facilitating:

  •  NWTS introduction, advance & specialist study days

  • SIC Pre-operative Practitioner course

  • LTV Invasive & Non- invasive study days
