I qualified as a Nurse in 1996 and have worked in both adult and paediatric fields in a variety of places within the UK (London, Newcastle, Belfast, North West). My experience covers a comprehensive range of roles within acute and critical care nursing, including clinical, patient safety, Matron, Head of Nursing and Senior Leadership, adding to my journey leading to Network Director in the newly formed PCC SIC LTV ODN in 2021.

I am passionate about healthcare and the challenges it brings and strive to ensure safety and equity for children, families and professionals involved in their care.
