I am a registered Children’s Nurse qualifying in 1998.   I started my career on a paediatric Neurology ward before moving into the community to manage home complex cara packages for a private organisation.

I returned to work for the NHS 2008 where I took up the role of Acquired Brain Injury Specialist Nurse at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital before moving into the Paediatric Major Trauma Rehabilitation Coordinator role.   It was in this role that that a developed my interest in Networks and Paediatric Rehabilitation.  In 2019 I helped to obtain funding for the Greater Manchester School Reintegration Project which is shortlisted for the HJS Partnership Award 2022.

In June 2022 I took up the role Network Manager for both the North West Children’s Major Trauma Operational Delivery Network & North West Paediatric Critical Care, Surgery in Children & Long-Term Ventilation Operational Delivery Network.
