I have been a Consultant Anaesthetist at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust for 8 years. I greatly enjoy anaesthesia and have a varied anaesthetic practice involving both adult and paediatric patients.

I helped with the initial set up of the surgery in children operational delivery network in 2021 and was formally appointed in April 2022. Prior to that I was the paediatric anaesthesia lead for my trust and have been committed to improving the service paediatric patients receive throughout my career.

I am interested in service redesign, theatre efficiency and patient experience.

Outside of work, when I’m not looking after my own 3 children, I enjoy cycling, running and sailing.
